EMPIRE SPRINT RACING CLUB - VICTORIA
The Empire Sprint Racing Club conducted Sprint Racing at Inglewood-Rheola in Victoria during 1999. It is believed the Club was an AQHA Affiliate and it was also associated with the now defunct Australian Racing Quarter Horse Association (ARQHA).
The President of the club was Enzo Scafati and the Secretary Amy Burke who was also a Sprint Jockey. The Club conducted Arabian Racing as part of it’s program of racing.
The club did not conduct any further racing after a dispute with the ARQHA in 1999. Several members of the Empire Sprint Racing Club including O.J. & Robin Morgan later joined the VRQHA.
The nominations for racing at Rheola included well known identities Greg Douglas, Ventry Wall, Bill Roberts, Tony Smith & John Costello,
Results of all racing from Rheola are being prepared to go online and videos of the races will be online soon.
